MyBuilder.com helps homeowners find reliable tradespeople through the power of online reviews. We?re a market leader in the UK and part of IAC, a well known New York based internet group (Tripadvisor, Vimeo, Match.com, Tinder, HomeAdvisor)

We are looking for the very best customer service champions to join our top-notch team. There?s no point listing all the soft skills you?ll need as the right candidate will already know what they are and have them in abundance. We want you to be excited by the prospect of working with a company that takes pride in making a genuine difference to the lives of our users. We care about what we do and how we do it.

Our inbox is a colourful place and we wear many hats to best serve the needs of our homeowner and trade customers. We are problem solvers, cheerleaders, objection handlers, referees, counsellors and so much more. We are, within reason, whatever our customers need us to be. How these cases are dealt with is down to you. We strongly believe that by hiring the right people, we can trust them to take ownership of their role.

We will train and develop you to become an expert in everything MyBuilder has to offer, understand the needs of our customers and play a key part in enhancing their overall experience. Whether you?re troubleshooting a technical issue or handling a complaint, you?ll be given the freedom to do it your way.

Having previously worked in a customer service environment, you will understand that dealing with people is not all sweetness and light. There is a dark side and you will have the temperament to embrace its challenges with a positive attitude. We don?t shy away from difficult conversations. We?re honest, and you will sometimes need the confidence to tell a customer what they may not want to hear. We aim to be impartial, fair and always act in the best interests of our marketplace.

For the right person, this is a great opportunity. This is not your run of the mill customer service job. It?s easy to say we do things differently, but we really do. We?re looking for people with all levels of experience, from junior to senior. Your background could be sales, account management or any other type of customer-focussed position. If you?re interested, show us that you?re someone we can?t afford to ignore. We love a well-crafted cover letter and look forward to reading yours.

If this role excites you, send your CV and covering letter here: https://careers.mybuilder.com/2019-09-13-customer-support-specialist/

    • This is a remarkable interpretation of history. Wikipedia (with more footnotes and citations than you could shake a shitty stick at sez: The austerity programme was initiated in 2010 by the Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government. In his June 2010 budget speech, Osborne identified two goals. The first was that the structural current budget deficit would be eliminated to "achieve [a] cyclically-adjusted current balance by the end of the rolling, five-year forecast period". The second was that national debt as a percentage of GDP would fall. The government intended to achieve both of its goals through substantial reductions in public expenditure.[21] This was to be achieved by a combination of public spending cuts and tax increases amounting to £110 billion.[26] Between 2010 and 2013, the Coalition government said that it had reduced public spending by £14.3 billion compared with 2009–10.[27] Growth remained low, while unemployment rose. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom_government_austerity_programme From memory, last time around they were against the LTNs and competing with the Tories to pick up backlash votes - both failed. They had no counterproposals or ideas about how to manage congestion or pollution. This time around they're simply silent on the matter: https://www.southwark-libdems.org.uk/your-local-lib-dem-team/goosegreen Also, as we have seen from Mr Barber's comments on the new development on the old Jewsons yard, "leading campaigns to protect the character of East Dulwich and Goose Green" is code for "blocking new housing".

    • Revealing of what, exactly? I resurrected this thread, after a year, to highlight the foolishness of the OP’s op. And how posturing would be sagacity is quickly undermined by events, dear boy, events. The thread is about Mandelson. I knew he was a wrong ‘un all along, we all did; the Epstein shit just proves it. In reality, Kinnock, Blair, Brown, Starmer et all knew as well but accepted it, because they found him useful. As did a large proportion of the 2024 intake of Labour MPs who were personally vetted and approved by Mandelson.
