Hello all,

Sorry I know this is about Peckham but I wanted to find out what some people think.

I currently live in Deptford and I LOVE it. But I am wanting to buy and there is affordable housing in Peckham. I have found a lovely flat on Peckham park road and I want to know....: Does anybody here know that area? What is it like to live there? Good/bad? I know there arnt many pubs or cute shops directly around it and Peckham high street is a little walk away... But do any of you have anything to say about north Peckham as a place to live???? I know it is super close to town-London bridge is 10 mins on the bus and this is a bonus for me. But is it safe? Are there any hidden gems?

Any advice welcome I'm totally stuck.

    • But people getting up for work or if they’re a carer having to get up after a few hours sleep would know it’s gone 11pm as they’re kept awake by selfish people!
    • I agree. Midnight I can understand when it's celebrating the start of a new year (under whatever system) but not otherwise. Though re the wildlife, it's going to affect them whatever time it is, I don't suppose they know it's gone 11pm!

    • Yes I get your gist, but maybe you could just name a few of the very many you mention? I'm not sure why you find it very concerning that somebody would leave Labour for the Greens? So have many people, including me.
