free bike maintenance workshop with hands-on tuition December 3rd

This is the place to bring that old bike that's been in the shed for years. The guys will help you brush off the spiders and get it into shape for the spring. Don't squeak and rattle any longer as you cycle around. Peace and calm can be yours. With their expert help (I'm assuming that at least some of us believe in experts) you too can true the wheels, fix the gears (it's called indexing) and improve the stopping quality of the brakes.

They will be inside in the warm of Camberwell Leisure Centre, Artichoke Place, SE5 8TS (see pic) from 6.30-8.30pm on Tuesday December 3rd. There aren't many more details but what there are will be here: https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/events/free-bike-maintenance-with-hands-on-tuition-11/

  I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here

  Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road.   Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
