TonyQuinn
It's 4-0 to Williams already in the Wimbledon final, I wouldn't be surprised if she wins both sets to zip. Now, what is wrong with women's tennis....why is it so uncompetitive and why do they get paid the same as men? Doesn't make sense to me. Loz
To be fair, we are talking Wimbledon so they are playing to be the "Ladies Singles Champion" Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24376-womens-tennis/#findComment-558714 Share on other sites
RosieH
Ah, we're being fair are we.Ok then, in that case, we should make Usain Bolt earn his money by running for as long as, say, Tiger Woods plays golf?Or women footballers earn as much as men footballers - after all, they're on the pitch the same length of time... Each game is so brief, so my attention does not wander. In men's matches the ball is hammered across the net in such a way that I cannot relax.Derek Slavin,Heywood, Lancashire. ;-) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24376-womens-tennis/#findComment-558721 Share on other sites

That would solve the argument instantly. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24376-womens-tennis/#findComment-558787 Share on other sites
