Our 7 yr old male cat has gone missing. He was last seen on Friday morning (6th Dec). He tends to wander up and down the mid-stretch of Carver Road and through the wooded area backing onto Herne Hill School / Ruskin Walk. He's a fairly well-built tabby, with a white throat/tummy and paws and very springy upright tail. He's blind in his left eye which is a little opaque, so he tends to look slightly 'boss eyed'.

His mum is rather lonely without him so we hope he has just got stuck inside a shed / empty house and will reappear but if you could keep an eye open and let me know if you see / hear of him, I'd be v grateful. He's microchipped.

Thanks,

Anna

    • Be careful out there  !   I got a ticket for 1 minute over  on Lordship Lane   ---- with a blue badge , on a single yellow ...    I returned at 4.03pm to find the ticket -- he waited till 4.01pm with ticket and then scarpered  Naturally i appealed it and this was the response   We refer to the informal challenge you have made against the issue of the Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) JK17113680 You were parked on a single yellow line with one yellow kerb marking. There is a sign at the location advising that no loading is permitted Monday-Friday, 7 am to 10 am, and then 4 pm to 7 pm. Loading is permitted for a maximum of 40 minutes between 10 am and 4 pm, and then again after 7 pm. You were observed parked at 4:01 pm. and therefore issued a PCN for parking at a time when the rule applies. The purpose of this rule is to improve traffic flow and safety at all times. This contravention is immediately enforceable, and therefore, a PCN can be issued straight away as no observation period is needed. This rule applies to disabled badge holders, too; it is not a situation where you may use your disabled badge. Although your Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) was correctly given, we have cancelled it on this occasion, as a gesture of goodwill. Please note that this cancellation does not set a precedent for other PCNs issued in the future under similar circumstances, as each case is dealt with on its own merits. Yours sincerely Anita Hayler Southwark Parking
    • Closed this evening at 7pm (Tuesday). Perhaps worth ringing first to check if it’s open?
