Don't know much about the low/no-alcohol wine, but we bought some Seedlip which is really nice distilled botanical stuff - very good sub for gin, tastes great. There's a place off Old Kent Road which does really nice (and some very low alcohol) brews: https://theoriginalsmallbeer.com/ The beers are superb.

Oh dear, Foxy?s missed the point again

Fox, it?s not about you, or what you dislike. It?s about what you?d recommend.

Anyhoo, I?d recommend the Small Beer from Bermondsey too. The Steam Lager is great, lovely taste and it has that nice rounded mouthfeel to it too, which many lack. It?s also 1% ABV.

Some of the wine recs sound interesting, specially the Waitrose one.

WomanofDulwich said "they were all horrid, ..

But you did not criticise her for expressing her 'Dislike'

Your personal vendetta against The Fox is Tiresome

I have not tried ANYTHING that I would recommend.

Wowser

M&S do a range plus these sparkling fizzy juices that look like craft ciders and country wines.

I bought the grape rose one yesterday, so I?m looking forward to trying, I?ll post my thoughts on it later. But at ?2.50 it?s worth a punt.

I did notice that the alcohol free wines were all but sold out at M&S, the staff telling me that they are very popular, so yes, there we go, it?s the way forward this Christmas.

    • Two wrongs don't make a right. Labour ran on a manifesto of "we aren't like them" and "we are different" and"you can trust us/we will restore faith in politics". They are doing nothing to convince anyone that any of those promises are being met - they are letting everyone down. u-turning on everything and are fast-tracking the doomsday scenario of a Reform government. Even the runway on the "it's all the Tories fault" is running out. I dislike politicians because they cannot be trusted and Rayner just highlighted that with ribbons on. She should have been so careful after the focus on the electoral roll issues she had with the house in Ashton-under-Lyne and then under a year later this comes up. Clearly the advice she took included a recommendation to take proper advice that she failed to do - that's just daft and the most galling thing is that she didn't just resign when this came up - she tried to spin out of it but must have known she was toast. Trust is fast being eroded. I desperately want Labour and Starmer to fix this because the alternative it too scary to think about but the way things are going they are fast-tracking Farage into No.10. Labour are letting us all down.
    • Same can be said for the current and prior governments
    • Good afternoon, We are looking for a gardener to tidy up our climbing rose. It is very high, so the work will require someone with a tall ladder. can you please recommend anyone?  thanks s
    • So you are also old enough to remember the Heath Out protest by the TUC when unemployment hit 1 million? We all have selective memories, this thread is no different. Please give me a list of the Labour sleaze. And compare it to the Tories.  There are a few of you who appear to have a long term dislike of Labour, so all this is a gift.
