Do you need any gifts wrapped? [for charity]

Hi neighbours,

I really love wrapping gifts (and I'm good at it) but I don't do any gift exchanges myself, so I don't get to wrap things any more.

I thought I would take a punt on offering gift wrapping around ED/Peckham/Nunhead instead, donating any money raised to Shelter.

How it would work:

- I'll come to you (as long as you're within aprx 1 mile walk of Clock House pub, SE22 9QA) - I'm free most times up to/including the 24th

- You set out the gifts and wrapping materials, and I'll get to work (if necessary I have a small amount of paper/materials I could bring, but I'm limited in what I can carry as will be on foot)

- You give me a donation which I'll pass on in full to Shelter, or you can donate it directly yourself - 1-2 pounds per gift is probably a useful baseline to work with but of course keep it within your means. No judgment!

About me:

- 34/f

- Lived in ED for 12 years

- My real job is research manager for a London-focused not for profit - off until the new year!

- My fav local shop is Pearspring and local restaurant probably Mr Bao

Anyway, if this sounds useful to you, call/text/whatsapp me: zero seven nine two eight zero eight eight five six four

Merry xmas/happy new year,

Amanda

    • Hello, I’m currently looking to buy Jellycat soft toys and LEGO sets for my children. If you have any available for sale, please feel free to message me. Thank you!
    • Useful link, thanks. I see that neither of the Dulwich Hill councillors are standing again but one of the new Labour candidates for DH recently left the Lib Dems… The Greens are led by someone who left the Lib Dems and full of people who left Labour. Reform is full of those who left the Tories. And the Tories are full of those who left our planet some time ago. Confused? You will be!
    • I'm sorry to learn that though Liam does seems well qualified. Hopefully with McAsh gone, Southwark Labour will turn to Charlie to fill the gap.
    • As I understand it Charlie Smith did put himself forward for selection in GG but Labour members chose someone else to represent them, Liam McGrath https://southwarklabour.com/our-candidates/   It'll be interesting to see if there are other defections - surely the Greens want a drip, drip, drip of news from now to May suggesting the momentum is with them.
