Hi,

thanks - had a look at the site, looks great, but it doesn't say what time and where in the park to meet?

Also, is it just drop in - or do you have to sign up for a course? And how much?

Looking forward to stretching my legs!

Cheers

KwB

EDITED:

Just found this on another website:

Peckham Rye Mondays 12.30

Meet @ Cafe next to car park.

Dulwich Park Thursdays 10am

Meet @ Court Lane Gate, just down from Dulwich Library.

Hi everyone

My name is Liz Stuart and I run the Powerpramming sessions. Thanks for your interest KWinberry and thanks Monkey and Convex for supplying the info!

The days and times above are all correct.

Peckham Rye meeting point is the cafe

Dulwich Park meets at The Court Lane Gate (just down from the library)

No need to book.

?6.50 PAYG

10 sessions for ?50 and you get 3 months to use them up.

5 sessions for ?30 and you get 7 weeks to use them up.

You can use the prepaid sessions at either or both venues.

The class is for all fitness levels. As it is postnatal you will not be pushed to your limits so to speak as that would be inappropriate. The class is geared around the needs of the post natal body and we focus on building stregth and fitness again and maintaining good posture and flexibility.

You do not need a special pram as we stick to the pathways. The class is on even if it rains - we just find some shelter and exercise there.

When the ground is not boggy (as it probably is today) we put mats/ towels/ blankets down on the grass and do some exercises on them.

I hope this helps. The wesbite is www.powerpramming.co.uk the other website is more for my personal training and general fitness business asfitas.

Thanks again for the interest and the previous info!

Best wishes

Liz Stuart.

    • I was amazed to see a young nuthatch crawling headfirst down a the trunk of a tree in my garden to bully the great tits and blue tits off the bird feeders yesterday.  Didn't expect to see one this far from the woods.
    • some titles are "protected" ie you have to have certain qualifications and be registered with the supervising council https://www.hcpc-uk.org/about-us/who-we-regulate/the-professions/ Dietician is registered and protected Nutricionist is neither. Anyone can claim to be a nutricionist or chiropracter etc
    • It didn't occur to me to ask. No idea if dieticians are employed within the NHS. It is just one line of enquiry among others. The GP mentioned it, not me.
    • I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here
