We woke up to an open front door on New Years Day which was a nice start to 2020. It looks like they just snatched a few things and ran as they didn't get very far into the house. They took two coats, a work bag, an iPad and a pink and beige wicker basket with all the kids hats/gloves/scarves in. Randomly they have chucked my work bag and coats into front gardens on Upland and Friern (between Underhill and the park) and thanks to kind people (Keira!!) we have them back.

Would really appreciate it if people in this area could have a look in their from gardens for the wicket basket or any gloves/hats/scarves. I know its not much but just annoying to replace! I'm not holding out hope for the iPad.

Thanks all!

    • In it's own right a free event is potentially a nice idea- although reports from last year were not that positive. But, a free event in this case is not in my view worth the price of continued expansion of this event and privatisation of park space over the summer months.  It will be interesting to see if Southwark has declined to licence the further three days (meaning 7 in all over 2 concecutive weekends). The decision is meant to be in but I cannot find it.
    • A reminder of how points are scored in the game. Apart from their website, Superbru has a couple of apps, one of which is specifically for rugby. Anyone wishing to join see previous post. There must be some rugby fans in ED who haven't played before!
    • A free community event is good, isn't it?
    • This isn't supposed to be a public car park for shoppers though. Surely it's intended for patients who aren't able to get there easily on foot or by public transport? It isn't just the GP practice  there. There are various  clinics, and the blood test place. Some people may be quite ill or have mobility issues. Suppose they can't get a parking space because people have parked there to go shopping? Please don't encourage this!
