indiepanda
Another recommendation for Amy, she is simply brilliant, and much better than some much more expensive massages I've had in the past. kubikrubik
I had a pretty bad experience with Amy. The treatment room is cold and smells of damp. The room has almost no ventilation. The massage I requested for was a swedish massage, what I received instead was just gentle touching that wasn't even a massage. When I asked for more pressure to be applied, my request was sort of dismissed so I could not wait to get out. kimn
I've been going to Amy for massage treatments for the past couple of years, including throughout my pregnancy. I have been really happy with all massage treatments received, be it for general relaxation, specific aches/pains/injuries or to relieve pregnancy niggles. Amy has always tailored the massage to what I have needed at the time and always has the room prepped with lovely oils burning and music playing to match the reason for booking an appointment. I always leave feeling like a new person and have no hesitation in recommending Amy! cp2012
I have also been going to Amy for years and find her treatment therapeutic, relaxing and a complete pleasure. The treatment room most definitely isn't damp and always smells lovely. I will continue to go to her and recommend her as she is the best and most reasonably priced massage therapist I have ever been to. wildflower
Once again Amy has sorted me out! I wrote a short comment in July, but as I woke up this morning (after seeing Amy yesterday) feeling better than I had all week, I thought I would elaborate on my recommendation. As a Pilates instructor and movement teacher with a variety of injuries I really rely on Amy to both help me work out excess tension and "knots" and also to relax. I find her space comfortable, love the music she plays and really like how she incorporates different types of massage into my treatment (the hot stones are lovely!). I am into my 3rd year as her client... and I keep on going!(I have to comment as well as I just noted the above observation -I have never found her treatment room damp, quite the contrary, it is warm and inviting and smells lovely.) aloued
Hello,Just to let everyone know that I will be working reduced hours over the next 3 weeks in order to revise for my final exams for my BA.Evening and weekends I will still be working as normal but with less daytime availability it's advisable to try and book in advance where possible.Warmest wishesAmy Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24658-recommending-a-massage-therapist/#findComment-679460 Share on other sites
Polkadotty
Hello, it's long overdue that I recommend Amy on here. I've been going to see Amy for a few years now and I've grown to rely on her to sort out my neck and shoulders every once in a while. I love that she uses different massage techniques and her intuition in a holistic way, and I always come out feeling better, looked after and cared for - and smelling of nice natural oils. Amy will go out of her way to find an appointment that suits you and her therapy room feels warm and cozy. If you have a specific problem or just fancy a relaxing massage - you'll get a treatment that's right for you (just keep an open mind).
