The Round Peckham Rye

Hi, just wanted to comment about The Round at Peckham rye park. My elderly

Mum of 82 always goes for a walk in the park but hasnt been for a while. She used to go the caf? in the park for a coffee and pay cash.

She went there the other day and was turned away as they no longer accept cash but cards only. Also two other elderly people had cash only. I think its discriminating against elderly people. My mum has never used a card in her life and I don?t think she would even know how to and I doubt she is not the only elderly person who doesn?t use cards.

Is this or any other cashless caf? only catering for the young and trendy people. I think its terrible, The Round is not exactly a clean caf?, good coffee but thats it.

There was a thread about this, I started it! Please complain to the caf? and also to the councillor responsible for Parks, I can't remember what her name is now.
