link to comment on GP/hospital/health/care services

Recommended Posts

Thought I'd put this up for anyone who wants to feedback on their experience of

health services. (Sorry I know I said link but not sure how to put a link in! Anyone else?!)

The people to give comments to are:

Care Quality Commission

www.cqc.org.uk

There is a very simple form at the top of their page to fill in - takes minutes (you can do it while still waiting on the phone to get through to a GP!) - They will then collate feedback when assessing the quality of care that is offered.

How about empowering the many GPs who have issues with local people?

1. Being late or failing to turn up for appointments

2. Being rude/offensive/violent

3. Demanding prescription paracetamol

4. Demanding home visits because they can't be bothered to get a bus

5. Trying to fit five ailments into a ten minute appointment

6. Not being ill just wanting a day off work

7. Making a vexatious complaint about the GP

You make a very good point, Captain Marvel.

I filled in (another) customer survey recently and for the first time in ages was able to give full marks and glowing praise - and it was for my local GP surgery, where the doctors and nurses and staff are all excellent!

Only one that could ever effect me is this - I suppose people have googled and think the ailments are linked - I'm always watching for diabetes signs and they are varied.

GP's must know about ailment googlers though.

    • Quote "it was quite clear that it wanted to nip me." Doesn't say clearly that it tried to bite you , but instead implies that you had the impression, right or wrong that it wanted to nip you.  unless you are clear others will read it how you write it.  As for being a jobsworth, what a quaint old expression, haven't heard that for a long while.

The safest additional security measure is what's called a ghost immobiliser, which cannot be traced through the car's electronics, meaning it is difficult to bypass. They cost a bomb however.
