If your child needs extra coaching and tutoring in Maths, my hubbie Gareth, teaches Mathematics and Statistics at 'A' level for one to one support (he does also offer GCSE level) He has DBS and has taught Mathematics and Statistics since 1988.

?35/hour

He has some current availability at evenings after his daytime work (from 7pm) and also at weekends.

Please PM to enquire about availability, as I help deal with his bookings!

Hi Sue


I am looking for a Maths tutor for my son who is in his first year of GCSE and currently finding it hard. He got a 4 in his recent assessment and I want to improve his level. Ideally Monday/ Thursday 5-7pm. Please let me know if this would be possible?

      I'm sorry to learn that though Liam does seems well qualified. Hopefully with McAsh gone, Southwark Labour will turn to Charlie to fill the gap.

      As I understand it Charlie Smith did put himself forward for selection in GG but Labour members chose someone else to represent them, Liam McGrath https://southwarklabour.com/our-candidates/   It'll be interesting to see if there are other defections - surely the Greens want a drip, drip, drip of news from now to May suggesting the momentum is with them.

      Thanks for your feedback - we always appreciate hearing from members about their experience. The pool temperature at JAGS Sports Club is maintained at 29oC, in line with industry guidelines for mixed-use pools.  This temperature has been designed to balance comfort for lane swimmers and families. Air temperature is also monitored regularly to ensure a comfortable environment for swimmers, spectators and staff. The shower Temperature Mixing Valves (TMVs) were changed in December to improve consistency, and we hope this has made a noticeable difference.       One wonders if he would have defected if he had, ahem, held on to the leadership of Southwark and whether he felt that "Labour are no longer the vehicle for social justice" during his leadership election........my how quickly things change in the thoughts of a politician 😉 I think this sums things up quite nicely: A senior Southwark Labour spokesperson hit back: “Local residents can draw their own conclusions about Cllr McAsh’s swift move from Labour leadership hopeful to the Green Party, after he didn’t get his own way. While he’s thinking about his own career, Southwark Labour are delivering for residents.” One wonders if he will stand as a Green candidate in Goose Green.
