Bike theft outside co-op

Hi

Rather stupidly I left my bike unlocked outside co-op whilst doing a mercy dash for nappies about 7.45 this evening. A toe rag has come along and swiped it. Whilst it's 4 years old it is my main means of getting to work and above all rather irritating.

It's a Specialized Rock Hopper, frame number WUDB70750989, in silver. If anyone saw anything, or indeed gets offered it, please could you get in touch.

P.S.to the guy I spoke to outside in the Audi, thank you for having a drive round. Good to know that bike thieves are the minority and nice locals are the majority.

I would keep an eye out on 'gumtree'. Seems to be the main outlet for stolen bikes in and around London. A good friend of mine had the same happen to him and not only did he find it advertised on this site, he also managed to capture the thief. A clever bit of distraction at the viewing whilst the police were on their way!
