If you are looking for a friendly hairdresser/barber shop on Forest Hill road now that the barber shop next to the French Cafe has closed I can recommend Friendly Cuts.

It's a bit higher up the road next to the Watson's telegraph pub/supermarket but we had a few haircuts there and have been very happy.

  It seems like Charlie Smith is not standing for GG ward again, or has he also defected to the Greens? The Labour website info also suggests McAsh is standing for GG Ward, so that needs updating! FWIW thus far Labour 'promises' on their website says zilch about roads, traffic etc.. I feel we have been here before.

  Remember though that McAsh has not been the only Labour councillor. Charlie Smith keeps a lower profile but is committed to the local community, I doubt he has any plans to become an MP. I contacted him about a very local problem, he was at my door three hours later and problem resolved by the end of the week.

  Late delivery of mail should not be blamed on LL Post Office. Delivery of mail is the responsibility of the distribution office on HighShore Road Peckham. Things must have been sorted at LL PO as there has been no queue there the last four times I passed by mid-morning.
