We are looking for a caring, fun, engaged and responsible after school sitter for our three children - boy and girl twins aged 10 and son aged 13 - to start immediately if possible.

Ideally Mondays - Thursdays plus occasional Fridays and mornings would also be helpful (7.30 - 8.45) when one of us is travelling).

Main responsibilities:

- Meeting twins after school (3.25 or 4.30 dep on the day till 7pm and sometimes later) and taking them to the odd after school club (all within walking distance)

- Helping with homework

- Organising activities at home - games, crafts, park trips etc

- Preparing dinner

- Light housework (cleaning up after meals and tidying)

We are looking for someone who has experience working with older kids and who can provide a safe, creative environment.

We are based in Herne Hill, two mins from North Dulwich station.

Please message me if you would like more details.

Many thanks

    • Thanks penguin  always wondered about that place and that’s way more info than I ever thought I would get  (used to live above a gun nut on friern road - he would tell me nothing)
    • There was a Saturday afternoon crowd of enthusiasts, and at other times the owner might have been off acquiring stock. He also repaired air guns, which he also sold. He stocked edged weapons, uniforms, including antique uniforms, air guns and ammo and starting pistols and shot. Some medals and other militaria. Quite a lot of ex service chit chat on a Saturday. I had an amateur interest, didn't deal a lot, in English pattern swords and other mainly 19th century militaria. And made some good purchases there. I'm afraid WWII and later events was the major focus of most of the regulars.
