Boarded up house in Shawbury road

Noticed a recently boarded up house at the top of Shawbury road, towards Fellbrigg road opposite the windows\joinery laboratory.

It was a squat for years and they have just evicted the tenants. Not sure what the plans are for it though. You would have thought that the owners would want to get in there straight away and sell/rent it. It makes me think that it is owned by the council.

I witnessed that place for many years - tens of people were living in there. The doors were smashed down a few times by the police I heard because of some domestic violence.

Its in front of Brock's garage, god knows what its like inside -a right dump I expect but no doubt going for a heafty price tag at the moment in east dulwich when it does go on the market.
