How to get a DVD out of a MacBook?

Apparently this is a common problem. No sliding drawer. It's driving me crazy.

It's stuck. Have tried everything to eject it, even looking up different ways on the internet.

Thanks for your response Fox. I am going to try the ones on the link you sent. And I do feel like using a crowbar, but have so far refrained. Should get an external DVD player I suppose.

This happens to us all the time. Try restarting while holding 'D' until you see the startup screen, this usually forces ours to spit out stuck disc. If this doesn't work try holding 'D' in combination with the alt or command key. Only ways I've found to eject a stuck disc. If it forces hardware test just cancel, depends what system your running.
