Gidget
Apparently this is a common problem. No sliding drawer. It's driving me crazy. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24900-how-to-get-a-dvd-out-of-a-macbook/ Share on other sites

Salsaboy
I have a crowbar you can borrow. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24900-how-to-get-a-dvd-out-of-a-macbook/#findComment-565906 Share on other sites
Gidget
Thanks for your response Fox. I am going to try the ones on the link you sent. And I do feel like using a crowbar, but have so far refrained. Should get an external DVD player I suppose. GinaG3
This happens to us all the time. Try restarting while holding 'D' until you see the startup screen, this usually forces ours to spit out stuck disc. If this doesn't work try holding 'D' in combination with the alt or command key. Only ways I've found to eject a stuck disc. If it forces hardware test just cancel, depends what system your running.
