TV in the kids' bedroom

I really must stop reading these threads which even HINT at the disruption having children causes - someone needs to start a thread about why having kids is the BEST thing ever

As I don't have kids, I shan't comment on the rights or wrongs of TV in their bedroom (although that home cinema comment from shoshntosh made me chuckle) but I always wanted one when I was a kid. For several years I wanted one in the living room as well mind you....

We got rid of the one in the bedroom a few years back - it just took up space and never got used. Another example of reality falling short of the idea. I am tempted to get one just above the bath tho' ....
