Plantation shutter advice

Hi all,

We are planning to get plantation shutters in our master reception room. We cannot decide between getting a single stack half way up the window or double stack covering the whole window. Whilst we think that single stack will no doubt ensure privacy from passers by outside, we are not sure if the reception room will lack a feeling of warmth if we do not have a double stack. We are not planning on getting curtains.

Any advice is very much welcome!

Thanks
