Trees in Worlingham Rd.

The storm a few weeks ago brought down a large branch from an old cherry tree in Worlingham Rd., damaging the car parked underneath.

Since then Southwark has cut down all the other old cherry trees in the street, (shame) but left this one untouched. I would like to know the reasoning behind this.

There is one marked for death on Eynella and another tree with a yellow cross in Barry road. They have got signs on one of them saying for public safety and a technical reason on the other one.
