This is not a charity or apparently even a social enterprise.

It gives no information at all about who is behind it. There is no "who we are" section.

Seems to be just a profit making company, which is apparently asking volunteers to work for it.

I was thinking today that the government should create an official Pandemic Volunteer Organisation. But it needs to come from government.

Very much agree with you.

In WW2 the Womens Royal Voluntary Organisation I think did a lot of the stuff that numerous small informal groups are currently trying to take on at the moment.

WRVS not appropriate now of course but as you say a Pandemic Volunteer Organisation really needed nationally. Otherwise lot of people going to fall through the cracks.

Hmmm, might be worth trying to get the idea raised. Will email our MP and see if something can be suggested to the newly formed pandemic cabinet. I think a lot of people are going to lose jobs and I am sure some of those and others would jump at the chance to do something, just to not feel helpless if nothing else.
