Advice for local small businesses

If any local business are currently daunted and need help with planning, [attempting to] strategize, pulling together the raft of financial data that the government and banks are likely to ask for or simply want an experienced sounding board - I'm happy to help

I've been running companies for 20+ years (from SMB to PLC). I currently run a number of tech businesses and, luckily, they're not affected by the current situation - happy to help anybody I can, however I can. I live in SE22 and mainly work from home

In 2008, I was CEO of a services company that was hammered by the downturn - I learnt a lot about running a company in a crisis, getting government/HMRC support, dealing with creditors, etc. I'm not a business coach, a lawyer or accountant but have been around the block quite a few times. Dont know if I'll have answers for people (or the answers they want) , but happy to chat & advise where I can

Please DM me if anybody needs help

Happy to share profile on DM

    • But people getting up for work or if they’re a carer having to get up after a few hours sleep would know it’s gone 11pm as they’re kept awake by selfish people!
    • I agree. Midnight I can understand when it's celebrating the start of a new year (under whatever system) but not otherwise. Though re the wildlife, it's going to affect them whatever time it is, I don't suppose they know it's gone 11pm!
    • Looking for someone naughty on the ground? What other reason would there be, if it hasn't landed anywhere?
    • Yes I get your gist, but maybe you could just name a few of the very many you mention? I'm not sure why you find it very concerning that somebody would leave Labour for the Greens? So have many people, including me.
