Really comfortable for children up to the age of around five. It's height adjustable, they have somewhere to put their feet (with straps to avoid dangling) and there's a comfortable and secure seatbelt. (Note: it does not recline as per the more recent version, but that has never stopped my daughter sleeping.)

It easily clicks in and out of a bracket on the rear of the main frame of the bike. You simply remove it when not in use, and it doesn't get in the way of a rear rack if you have one for your commute.

We have had many hours of happy riding, and have simply grown out of it with a tall 5 1/2 year old. We will miss it now we cannot take the children many other places!
