Hope everybody is doing well. I have just received an email asking for my help at the new Nightingale hospital unfortunately to travel there from East Dulwich is a lot of public transport which I am keen to avoid so just wondered if by chance anybody had a cheap car for sale with a few months MOT? Obviously if this was the case all social distancing measures would be kept in place for buying/selling.

There is free parking at the Royal Victoria car park for NHS.

This from the Daily Mail (soz!)

Hats off to the Fishmongers? Company?s Charitable Trust for a fantastic initiative in partnership with Minicabit, the largest taxi-comparison service. The ?150,000 scheme pays for minicabs to take NHS workers to and from work during the pandemic.

This will be helpful for workers coming off late shifts and staff in rural communities who often have long journeys. It will also enable frontline staff to avoid public transport, thus reducing their chances of infection.

Rides are free while funds last and cover trips up to ?50. If you know NHS staff, tell them about it. You can help keep it going by donating online at gofundme.com/f/free-cabs-for-nhs

    • Yes, we have a Casio CT-S100 we no longer need, except I dont think we have the headphones any more. It has a USB connection. £50? https://www.argos.co.uk/product/7333639
    • Thank you! She is both spayed and microchipped, and reported missing on Petlog and with the vets.   She normally never goes out the front, certainly for never more than 10-15 minutes, so this is definitely new territory for her. There is lots of dense foliage across the road so there are plenty of places she could be hiding if she is spooked, so we are hoping she will come back when she is calm. The weather isn't helping, she never goes out in the rain. Thank you again!
    • Hi, Have you been letting her out the front door onto the street or would this be a first & therefore unfamiliar with the area? Does she respond to a name & is she spayed & microchipped? Our team carry scanners on our daily routes & will of course be looking our for her. I hope you are reunited with her soon. If not already, notify your street & surrounding streets (find out if they have Whatsapp groups) Dox will print & deliver free missing posters https://www.doxdirect.com/help/free-missing-pet-posters/ Call her at dusk & dawn when street & foot traffic is at its lowest. • A slightly delayed review but another one to echo Niko's praises. I had an issue with a cistern that needed replacing and Niko was attentive and did a great job. He was very diligent, explained what he was doing and fixed issues from a previous plumber's work. I will definitely ask for his help again if I have any issues in the future.
