I thought the electorate had become more sophisticated
The soil is really dry due to lack of rain and perhaps it's considered too dry to plant for next spring? I have a few things that need transplanting in my garden but not considering it until we have more rain.
One thing I think is underplayed is that we, the country as a whole, and in particular the Westminster media bubble & 24/7 newstainment cycle, have become addicted to the political drama the Tories served up post-2016, hence the view that Starmer is boring etc.
It's got so bad that a leader of a respected political party spent the last GE campaign performing a series of publicity stunts in order to get the media's attention, and that became the story not the policies being promoted.
Make Politics Boring Again...
