I work for a university between the hours of 9-5 and delivering online sessions, please be mindful that there is a high probability that there are people nearby who are also working from home. So not great for them when you play music in the afternoon. Everyone needs to be more mindful and respectful of others. Also cars blaring music does not help, these are the things we can control, children playing and crying isn't able to be controlled and should not be. Also way to many people not social distancing and as I am at risk I have to stay home longer because of these irresponsible people.

Good of you to point this out. We are also working from home. Daughter in final year of degree as well. Add to that the Key workers who may be on night shifts and it is imperative that everyone is considerate.

Yes unfortunately not many people are considerate, I have been trying to teach this morning with a dog barking, neighbours shouting at each other arguing, now music and motorcycles and cars going far too fast up Dunstans Road.

Is it too hard to realise there are other people around you that have to maintain work they do in an already stressful environment? Seems so.

Take care and stay safe.

Currently working with all windows closed, curtains closed and trying to talk over peoples conversations while stood outside. Oh the joys lol..

    • I was amazed to see a young nuthatch crawling headfirst down a the trunk of a tree in my garden to bully the great tits and blue tits off the bird feeders yesterday.  Didn't expect to see one this far from the woods.
    • some titles are "protected" ie you have to have certain qualifications and be registered with the supervising council https://www.hcpc-uk.org/about-us/who-we-regulate/the-professions/ Dietician is registered and protected Nutricionist is neither. Anyone can claim to be a nutricionist or chiropracter etc
    • It didn't occur to me to ask. No idea if dieticians are employed within the NHS. It is just one line of enquiry among others. The GP mentioned it, not me.
    • I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here
