Horrendous screeching noise lordship lane Sainsbury's

Most nights between 1-5 am there's the most horrendous screeching noise that wakes me up! Is it a cat? Is it a fox? It sounds like an animal being tortured! Has anyone else heard this? It's near Sainsbury's/crystal palace road part of lordship lane. I'm just very curious to know what it is!

Probably foxes.

They?re all out at night recently, quite openly, as the streets are relatively deserted.

I?m not sure they?re getting so much to scavenge though, with less fast food and other junk being discarded on the streets now.

The screeching noise is foxes mating. It is that time of year.

Yes Foxes they have had there babies so needing lots of food also if a fox goes to another ones territory they scare the other one off
