Just wanted to recommend Biff shoes: I emailed them on Friday night and my kids had new shoes 20 hours later. They came over with a few options and, with good social distancing, my kids tried them on and when the shoes were too big, they came back an hour later with the right size. Highly recommended and easy process ? particularly if your kids are desperate for new shoes!

  I agree. Midnight I can understand when it's celebrating the start of a new year (under whatever system) but not otherwise. Though re the wildlife, it's going to affect them whatever time it is, I don't suppose they know it's gone 11pm!

  Yes I get your gist, but maybe you could just name a few of the very many you mention? I'm not sure why you find it very concerning that somebody would leave Labour for the Greens? So have many people, including me.
