Builder/ Handy man recommendations please

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am looking to get some work done around the house.

Jobs that need doing:

Conservatory work, new floor, blinds fitted, plastering and leak repairs.

Blinds to be put up in two bedrooms, flooring changed ( wood - carpet) and plastering of walls.

Happy for this work to be done during lockdown or straight after.

Thanks,

Kemi

I can wholeheartedly recommend Franco, an Italian electrician and handyman. I have lost count of the jobs he's done for me since I found him on this forum. He painted my kitchen and my house fa?ade, has put up a new fence, some shelves, two blinds, a mirror, changed one socket and put on a light fitting, put on the laminate floorboard, sealed my bathtub and fixed a door that wouldn't close properly... text him on 07417 507116. Better to text him as his English is still work in progress, but he's quick, professional and knowledgeable.

Gloria, So because the handyman didn?t turn up for you nobody else in East Dulwich should use him, correct?

I have deja vu.

As I just said on another thread, if someone doesn't turn up for a booked job, it's a bit of a red flag. Isn't it?

Been buying it for many years but only recently was thinking of giving it a miss as over the past couple of years it had become too politicised. Their South London Opinion page was particularly biased.
