Recommendations for Bathroom tiler in ED

Recommended Posts

I?d highly recommend Darren Roberts (Castle Plumbing). About five years ago, he saved our bathroom install after we made a bad decision with the first plumber/installer we?d hired. He?s since installed, tiled and refitted bathrooms for neighbours and friends. He recently finished two full bathroom installs for us, with a lot of tile work, in our new house. Both installs had some interesting challenges for Darren, which he handled with his usual resolve to make sure everything is to a high standard. Very confident he?d address any issues in the unlikely event we had any. Attached a few photos of his recent work for us. He?s very particular any making everything look good. At the moment we still have the old loo installed in one of our bathrooms at the house because renovations are still ongoing and Darren is worried that the nice new loo might get dirty or damaged if he installed it now. When he finished the tiling, covered it with cardboard, taped it down and put a sign on the bathroom door asking other tradespeople to keep everything clean please in the nice new bathroom. I?m just thinking bleach will clear up anything. But no. Do not mess with Darren?s new install.

    • It took the Tories 14 years to dig that 20bn blackhole. It's taken Labour 14 months to double it.  You cant get rid of Reeves though because the next person will actually be totally incompetent. There are no MPs in Labour capable of performing better than the current shower.
    • Thanks P. That sounds like a bargain compared to other horror stories I've heard!
    • DD, "Rejoice rejoice. It's a pity he and his fellow clowns were completely annihilated at the ballot box. I mean they were doing so well after all 🙃🙃" At least the economy and unemployment weren't in the mess they are now. What is it, give the public sector a whopping pay increase with no strings attached, double the black hole and then blame it on the last Govt. Give me strength. Rachel from accounts shouldn't be anywhere near the economy. The final straw was increasing employer NI contributions and look how that's worked out. Month on month both inflation and unemployment have risen. Won't be long before inflation and u/e are exceeding 5%, but guess what, They'll blame Sunak and go.  Lets have a snap election right NOW, then see how poorly Starmer, Reeves and Rainer do. They're already plotting to get rid of Starmer, and if you think its bad now, you ain't seen nothing yet. Oh and did I mention Starmer wanting to stop Freedom of Speech............................................Normal people can see right through what him and co are doing, great at spending other peoples money, him and co don't have = bankruptcy. We'll just repeat the economic collapse that happened in Greece and wasn't it in Italy as well?
    • One of the best of Shakespeare 's plays.  I did Othello for A level. Also seen a number of stage and film versions. Is there any specific aspects of the play that is difficult for your daughter to understand?
