eb307
There is loud music every fews days from the garden of 140 Melbourne Grove, we have asked numerous times for them to turn it down and they don't, and then they sing along louder, it is usually only one of them sitting out there playing on speakers which seems unnecessary. Are you any recommendations of what we can do next? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/252302-loud-music-from-neighbours/ Share on other sites
rachp
Have you tried Southwark noise team? Not sure if they will do anything under social distancing conditions? There are some people in the flats above Superdrug who also feel entitled to blast out their awful music as loudly as they like... IlonaM
The Noise Team are currently running a reduced service which means you can report incidents by phone/email, but they don't come out. However, once they are back in the office they'll be reviewing incidents for potential retrospective action. It is worth keeping a noise diary of date, times, rooms affected and how you were disturbed, as well as location noise is coming from. rch
I live nearby and have heard complaints about this address from other neighbours, but fortunately I can't hear it where I am. I would suggest that you definitely call Southwark's 020 7525 5777 number and log it with the Noise Team. If you can call from a location in your house where the team can hear the noise over the phone, that would be even better. In the meantime, also keep a diary as suggested above, but it might also be useful to speak to some of the other neighbours to see if you can make complaints in tandem.
