Virtual Home Tutor - Helping Your Child Excel During School Closures (Limited Slots Available)

Recommended Posts

Hi, I?m Ola!

I have seven years of experience as a tutor, specialising in helping children excel in exams, from the 7+ entrance exams all the way up to GCSE maths. Also, I have had great success with my students helping them pass the 11+ exams and gain admission to independent and grammar schools such as Dulwich College, Kings College, Alleyns and Latymer.

With a degree in maths and a masters in Statistics, I have extended knowledge in mathematics.

I believe that all children, no matter their age or ability, can achieve beyond expectations and this is why I am passionate about teaching. All children are unique with their own learning styles and I provide students with a personalised learning experience, as well as the additional support they need to reach their academic goals. My approach to teaching is to establish strong foundations and instil fundamental study skills that will serve them well academically and later in life. This will ensure that they become confident in their abilities and independent in their learning.

I currently have a few slots available during the week.

    • Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be. The article contained: "That arrest had quite an impact on the [phone theft] numbers for the following month,” said Green.  Here's another indicator, admittedly a piece of police PR,  of how well-targeted police efforts, mostly invisible to us,  can when successful  seriously affect offending figures: https://news.met.police.uk/news/met-police-drive-down-theft-and-robbery-by-84-percent-in-battersea-and-nine-elms-500495.
    • Another excellent article from Jim Waterson's London Centric reporting https://www.londoncentric.media/p/kitchen-foil-and-algerian-markets?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email Interesting that there seem to be favoured and repeated routes for phone snatching for particular thieves.  Seems ED might be one of them ☹️
    • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces. Access to East Croydon for days out in the South Coast
