Hi everyone, I posted on here at the beginning of lockdown for some feedback on my doorstep delivery idea. We have been delivering for 8 weeks now and it is going great! Thank you to the local customers that have ordered!

I?m aware there are lots of choices on takeaway platforms, I thought it would be good to give some more info on Doorstep darlings! I offer something different. Home cooked meals, that only require reheating, a small menu that changes weekly, made with love and care. Delivered FREE of charge to your doorstep every Wednesday. Prices range from ?6.50- ?7.50 per head for a main meal and a side...a total bargain! Oh and I have added brownies this week.

  Thanks for your reply. I’ve subscribed to Ancestry a few times in the past but felt I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping up the subscription.
- Does anyone remember an incident from the late 90s/early 00s in which a young man fell to death from Dawsons Heights?

  Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
