JessM
I'm considering getting a bike trailer for the kids (1&3) to cycle around locally. Anyone got any experience of doing this? All suggestions gratefully received! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/25270-cycling-with-kids-in-a-trailer/ Share on other sites
SBot
Hi Jess, ive just replied to your gymboree/tumble tots post.I did my school run when I nannied for two boys using the bike and trailer. The boys loved it, ages 3&5. I kept on the path though when possible. ryedalema
We have a bike trailer and use it loads around the smaller roads, but I personally get quite freaked out about going down Lordship Lane and the bigger roads. My OH has also 'pimped up' the trailer with flashing fairy lights, fluoro tape etc as he's equally paranoid about the traffic :)Our girls were 1 and 3 ish when we started, they've 2.5 and 5 now and it's getting a bit squishy in there and older monster is complaining of feeling sick as we go over speed bumps. It worked really well at the time, but think we'll need another solution soon.
