Recommended Posts

Back by popular demand! Join Local charity Link Age Southwark for our online pub quiz LIVE on Facebook from the comfort of your own sofa!

The quiz will take place live from our Facebook page on Wednesday 27th May at 7.30pm. Go to our Facebook Page to watch it live on the night: https://www.facebook.com/linkagesouthwark/

After the success of our first online quiz our host Andrew returns to lead us for another fun and inquisitive evening. Play with the people in your home or join a team using video calling - all are welcome.

It's free to take part, but please consider making a ?5 donation per household to support the work of Link Age Southwark who are keeping older people connected to their communities during the COVID-19 crisis with telephone befriending, online activity groups and food shopping deliveries. All proceeds will go towards our services for older people feeling lonely and isolated and will be greatly appreciated!

You can make a donation through the events page on our website - https://www.linkagesouthwark.org/Event/link-age-southwark-online-pub-quiz

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
    • Reeves says she's in charge and no no's Rayners plan, what happens now?
