Floor Fitter Recommendations Required Please

Recommended Posts

I am looking for some floor fitters to do good quality work fitting the floor in my flat.

I am having Spacia flooring with acoustic barrier mats underneath throughout the whole place except for the bedroom where it will be carpet with the acoustic barrier mats.

Current floor is the original floorboards.

Ideally I would like to arrange for the fitters to come and look at the job on Saturday during the day in order to give quotes.

Thanks!

I saw this post back in September and just recently I went to house of carpets and curtains in sydenham after seeing it being recommended I have always used lordship carpets but knew I was always paying to much so I thought I'd try somewhere else but must say I was very happy couldn't of asked for any better pricing was good I ended up having my whole house refloored by them. Definitely worth a visit

    • I’d like to recommend local plumber - James at Trelco Plumbing. I’ve used them twice now, for a kitchen tap replacement and a boiler repair. Both times they were able to attend at short notice, arrived on time and we are very happy with the work they have done. James is polite, responsive and easy to deal with. Having 3 boys at Charter i would seriously consider a boys school if you have them, Charter East really aren't geared up for the different educational needs of some boys and the challenging behaviour this frustration leads to. I have heard amazing things about St Thomas the Apostle boys school.
    • Thanks everyone for the great recommendations! I wouldn't normally go for vegan restaurants, but I've been to En Root and really liked it. Fresh and tasty.  The Ritzy Cinema in Brixton also sell their food, to eat in their cafe before or after a film (I don't think they sell the whole menu that you'd find in Peckham, but there is a good choice)
