Experienced, passionate nanny available: great references

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

My name is Nina Spencer, I'm a kind and responsible 22 year-old living in London. I have 6+ years of childcare experience, including last year working as a teaching assistant at a school in Brighton. I loved working at the school and was lucky to get lots of training, and lots of experience with children with a huge array of needs. I have done various child related jobs since I was 13, so I have many great references including a number of full time, long term nanny positions! I?ve got experience with newborns up to age 14. I love to cook and bake with children, and am passionate about learning through play. I am DBS checked and am trained in paediatric first aid.

I also have experience teaching the viola and piano, and am passionate about exploring the benefits of learning music for children. I would love to share this with any family I work with.

I'm looking to help someone out, preferably full time, over the summer before I start my primary school teaching degree in October. Please don?t hesitate to contact me if you aren?t sure I?d be available.

Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi Nina,

My husband and I are looking for a nanny to look after 11 mth old little girl - Isla. We were planning to send Isla to nursery in May but now the nurseries are open & she is still little we are unsure that she will respond very well to reduced contact, currently she is a very happy lively baby. I have just gone back to work (working from home) but I am looking for someone to look after her during the day from Monday to Thursday, I dont work Fridays. We are based in East Dulwich on Barry Road. If you are still available and interested we would be really interested in chatting to you about helping out - sounds like you have great experience.

Many thanks

Sophie

    • No I absolutely did not - that much is clear. Have you read the latest stories about Unite, Len and the hotel in Birmingham? The UK electorate were smart enough to reject a far-left party in 2019, let's hope they are smart enough to reject a far-right party at the next election too. If not we are all doomed.
    • I would also like to add my recommendation for James.  I had taken four names of electricians from the forum - in the order I had read the reviews.  First three no response - even days later. I phoned James this morning. He answered, gave me a time, stuck to it, messaged again 15 mins before arrival.  He fixed my problem on the spot.  Sensible charge out fee. Perfect service.
    • Most recent polls for the next election suggest it will be a hung parliament, with Reform the largest party by a fair margin. But that is predicated on Reform finding around 300 candidates who are actually electable. Given the number of Reform council candidates who have had to drop out prior to or after the local elections, does that seem likely? Social media is pretty unforgiving when it comes to finding skeletons in cupboards; a retweet or a like seems enough to scupper political ambitions. A few may defect from other parties, but do you think the electorate would really vote for so many brand new MPs from a newish party?  I'm not so sure.
    • To be fair, anything which waylays someone on their way to Palma Nova or Lloret de Mar from spending even more pre-flight time in Spoon's surely has some merit? I think losing a few quid on a litre of Bacardi and 200 Benson & Hedges Gold seems a reasonable price for society to pay. ,
