Hi! My name is Olivia, I'm based in Streatham Hill and I work in the music industry. Due to the coronavirus situation, I'll be looking for part-time or full-time childcare work from 1st July. I am available for childcare, babysitting and private tutoring.

I'm enthusiastic, positive, friendly, and creative. Some of my hobbies include yoga, walks, reading, baking, playing the guitar, singing, and painting. Another hobby of mine is cooking - I take pleasure in eating healthy, freshly prepared meals.

I graduated from Bristol University in 2018 with a first class degree in Sociology. Throughout my studies I had part-time childcare jobs, and took up lots of volunteering opportunities such as working with girl guides and tutoring English to socially disadvantaged primary school children (year 5 and 6).

I will be looking to take on childcare work in London from 1st July 2020, and have a car.

I have Basic Life Support Training, Epilepsy Training, Food Safety in Catering Training, First Aid Awareness Training and Health & Safety In The Workplace Training.

    • Really interesting discussion here. It's difficult to respect the views of people who support Farage, Trump, Musk etc. Why should we, when their views are deplorable. But then that exact 'deplorable' label, as we know, is counterproductive and drives people to double down / switch off to more progressive views. How do you actually help change minds? We're currently spiralling into dark places culturally and politically imo. The amount of open racism, even amongst front line politicians here and in the US is astounding to me. Feels like we're going backwards. The influence of social media and the tech billionaires / bros, is a powerful and largely malignant one. There was an enlightening (and frightening) bit of journalism by Sky this week about Musk's influence on British politics. He has a strange obsession with the UK and London in particular (as do many on the US right wing): https://news.sky.com/story/the-x-effect-how-elon-musk-is-boosting-the-british-right-13464487
    • Looking for any tickets to the Dulwich Hamlets game against St Albans today!
    • I'm going to Paris with friends, staying in the 3rd arrondissement. I used to go a lot but that was ages ago so wondered if anyone has any 'insider tips'? We are interested in small art galleries, independent shops, good value cafes and restaurants that may not feature in all the many online articles or guides, thanks!
    • Hi, My two years old nephew is a complete bookworm and we are looking for more books for him. Is anyone selling or giving away any books please?    Thank you.
