Nanny looking for a lovely new family

Recommended Posts

Hello my name is Tekisha, I am based in the walworth area. Currently i am working as a nanny with a wonderful family, i have been with them for a year and a half since there son was six months and will be departing when he is almost two due to him attending nursery. I have a calm, positive and happy personality i love to help children develop and teach them age appropriate life lessons such as patience, manners and kindness to name a few. I also have experience at a lovely primary school as an SEN LSA. I have a level 3 qualification in childcare and education and I am a qualified nursery nurse and previously worked with two wonderful families as a nanny before my current position.

I will be hoping to join a new family from August and i would like to work3-4 full preferably between 8.30-6

I am comfortable with all ages as i?ve worked with babies and school aged children and i am happy to do some light housework if needed, plan activities, attended playgroups and babysit if desired.

If is what you are looking for.

i am looking forward to hearing from you, thank you.

Tekisha C.

    • I haven't had a rude EVRI delivery but last week I had an unexpected delivery at 10.42 pm. He didn't ring the bell or knock on the door (or rattle the letter flap) but just took a photo and put the box down.  If it hadnt been for the door camera giving us a beep we would never have known there was a parcel ready to sit there all night.
    • Sorry if I’m being slow but there’s no point in having a gate then is there?  Would have thought it was basic manners to respect someone’s property
    • I didn't say wedge it "slightly" open. I meant to wedge it fully open.
    • I have a rescue Spanish greyhound (galgo) from the charity mentioned above. You can contact Greyhounds in Need or one of the more local Kent greyhound rescue charities. They are fantastic family dogs. They do love walkies 2 or 3 times a day but they actually don't need to be walked too far and then they will happily loaf around on the sofa being very chill. They are brilliant with kids but not recommended if you own a cat as they have a strong prey drive. They also should be kept on the lead in local parks. They prefer to be around other sight-hounds (well my one does) and there are loads of local sighthound owners in Peckham, Crystal Palace etc and a very lively WhatsApp group that is brilliant if you need dog sitting as you can usually find someone to do that for free in return for you looking after the dog at a later date etc.
