How can teaching methods be improved and anxiety levels reduced in children learning to swim?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am Helena Buckoke, an MSc Integrated Product Design student at Brunel University, Uxbridge.

I am conducting a research study for my dissertation, and am looking for parents/guardians or swimming instructors aged 18+ years that are linked to primary aged children (4-11 years) learning to swim.

If this is you, I would love to interview you! I will be asking a couple questions in order to gain perceptions of current and potential methods used to teach children to swim to help me to understand and define various needs and desires to implement into a design solution.

If you are able to spare a max of 30 mins for a phone call for me to ask a couple of questions over the next few weeks, please let me know! I would be hugely grateful!

All information will be used for academic purpose only - I have attached the terms and conditions on this post if you wish to have a look.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

    • Another recommendation for Niko. Great communication, top guy, and super reliable and skilled - all at a fair price. Takes a lot of care in what he does and talks you through everything.
    • Some foxes are very tame. The foxes that live near the electricity sub-station thing on the corner of Calton and Woodwarde will happily walk up to you/passed you. They are some of the best looking foxes around so clearly being well-fed - glorious coats and bushy tails but interested in humans and keen to engage/be fed rather than being scared.
