There are marks and scratches on the frame from general wear and tear but it presents well. The mattress is pocket sprung and has marks on it from when we moved house and general use. However, the cover comes off and is machine washable.. The mattress is 5 years old and is currently in the spare bedroom. Both are been sold to create room for a nursery.
