Especially trying to distance around some pavements, it's impossible because some large bush is taking up half!

Hedge in front of Rae Mansions in Barry Road ( Lordship Lane end) I stepped into the road to allow a young mum and buggy to pass as hedge is reducing the width of pavement.

Knock on the door and politely point out the bush is restricting passage, needed more than ever in pandemic times, and ask them to cut back. Nobody needs to have a hedge or branches fo their tree hanging into public space, it?s just they CBA to think of anyone else (though would likely be ashamed if they caused problems for elderly, blind, disabled, parents with young kids, etc.)

Hedges encroaching too far on to the pavement could be considered as obstructions on the pavement

what amazes me is some of these houses have the plantation shutters, the Annie Sloan painted front door and the brushed aluminium door furniture etc etc....and the lazy beasts can't be bothered to trim the hedge or get a gardener in!
