Hi all,

I moved to East Dulwich last year and have yet to meet any locals!

My flatmate is always working or out and it would be nice to sample some of the restaurants/bars/pubs with someone, or people in the area. I'm a pretty chilled girl but I'm really into fitness/weights/running and once or twice a month I like to go to clubs to see my mate DJ or just to dance to some decent house music. Into festivals and really want to go to Tomorrowland next year(jesus this is starting to sound like a dating ad!)so will be heading to Belgium for that in July.

Anyway, just looking for some girls or guys with good banter, don't take themselves too seriously and would like a drink sometime. If you have a dog that's an added bonus as I have serious dog broodiness :)

Oh and please move this post where it should go, if I am posting in the wrong place.

Nice to meet everyone :)

    • Sorry, I know this isn't strictly an East Dulwich topic but as there are so many late-Victorian properties in the area I wondered if anyone has seen anything similar in their house and can advise. We have what looks like an old gas outlet on the back wall of our daughter's bedroom which we'd like to remove, but we weren't sure whether it's safe to do so. Do I just call a registered gas engineer to check it out? And is it definitely a gas outlet or might it be something else? It's at floor level so maybe electricity but it doesn't look like any electricity outlet I've ever seen! Has anyone had any experience of dealing with something similar?

    • Love Franklins. Rod and Tim created something wonderful. Glad to hear it looks like it will continue in the same spirit.
    • End of a wonderful era. We’ve been going since it opened and even started contractions with my oldest (25 year old) son during a lovely New Year’s Eve lunch. Thank you Rod and Tim for some amazing memories.
