Is anyone going to the recycling centre soon?

Hi all

We recently got a new internet modem and annoyingly Virgin isn?t taking the old one back as it?s no longer useful to them.

If we don?t want to just bin the old one, I think the only local option for recycling it is taking it to the recycling centre. (but let me know if you know of other local options)

Is anyone going there soon and would you mind taking the modem?

You could try advertising it in the Items Offered section, preferably including the model number.

I find that if I just place the unwanted item on my front garden wall (preferably when it's not going to rain) it disappears very fast.

There is a recycling bin for small electricals on Sydenham Hill on the opposite side and before you get to the Dulwich Wood House. For toasters, kettles, hairdryers etc.
