I wanted to post details about a mechanic that I have been using for over 10 years and is utterly honest, reliable and reasonably priced. He is very experienced and does electrics too. I am posting details as current climate has hit his business hard and I wanted to help him by sharing his details.   There is an app called Hiya car what allows you to hire fully insured cars from people near you. Bit like Airbnb for cars. We used it a few times for camping trips and it was brilliant.

  No. Both sides of the dispute have to agree to mediation in the first place. I have been in a situation where the other people concerned refused to have mediation. And it wouldn't have been free.

  mediation is often offered as a next step to sorting problems between neighbours. Perhaps ask the council for that. You shouldn't need to pay.
