Wanted: Interim Smartphone!

Hi all,

Following a phone accident my son needs a smartphone until his upgrade is due later in the year. Does any one have a spare smartphone in good working order lying around? Brand doesn't matter! Just need it to work well for school apps, google, etc. He has a micro sim card.
