Hi all!

My name is Jess and I am an 18 year old who has just moved to East Dulwich. I am looking for any babysitting opportunities within the area (and friends if any of you have teenagers my age!)

A little more about me...

I have just moved up here with my family after completing my A Levels in Sussex. I'm a bubbly, confident and wonderful babysitter who has had a lot of experience with children due to having a younger sister (7). I have done a lot of babysitting for both my mother and friends of the family and can provide references if needed :-)

Favorite things to do include going on adventures, dressing up, watching movies and cooking (cupcakes in particular, although they don't always turn out as planned...).

I am also very pet friendly (dog walking?) and speak fluent German and Swiss (tutoring?) :-)

Available both days and nights at the moment so please do get in touch!

    • That explanation sounds highly unlikely!  Surely the "days of the week" plates must be a standard size. I know Royal Mail often appears incompetent, but it  couldn't be that stupid, surely. Was it 1 April?!
    • Looking for a short length of electric (twin & earth)  lighting cable. Most likely there could be some in a skip near you??
    • Southwark's recycling guidance says to put shredded paper in the blue bin in a paper envelope or "small box". I've got far too much of it for that  (confidential stuff going back decades) - thanks to the EDF member who kindly gave me a shredder! It would be a "massive box". I have barely started  the shredding, and I've already got an extremely large bagful.   I've read online that you can put it into  large clear plastic bags in the bin for paper,  provided you  clearly label it "shredded paper" and it is obvious what it is. Does anybody know if Southwark would accept it like that? Alternatively, can anyone make use of it for animal bedding or packaging material or adding to  compost?
    • I'm happy to report that some foxgloves are now looking great in my garden. The bees are loving them. Also managed to grow some corn poppies from seed. I've left some decaying logs in the corner so maybe there are some stag beetles there.
