SITOPIA - How Food can save the World

At our July Meeting Carolyn Steel will talk about her new book. Carolyn is a leading thinker on food and cities. Her first book, Hungry City, won the Royal Society of Literature Jerwood Award for Non-Fiction and was chosen as a BBC Food Programme book of the year. Carolyn is a London based architect, academic and writer who is in international demand as a speaker.

Her 2009 TED talk has received over one million views.

    • Absolutely gutted to hear that Dell Autos in Hansler Road is closing tomorrow. They have MOTed my ancient 1998 Micra for years, and have always been brilliant. Wishing them all the best of luck in their retirement. Wishing all their customers (including me) luck in finding another garage as honest, helpful, efficient and friendly as they were.
